27 people die due to severe floods in Mexico

Mexico City. Severe floods have killed at least 27 people in Chiapas and Tabasco, Mexico, and thousands have become homeless. President Andres Manuel Lopez said, "It rained records like never before." I am saying this for the tabasco keeping in mind the last 50 years. Fortunately, the rain has stopped now and no rain is expected for the next few days.

According to local media, 22 people died in Chiapas and 16 thousand people were affected in 32 towns. At the same time the storm in Tabasako killed 5 people and affected more than 1,48,000 people in 8 towns.
According to the information, torrential rains were recorded in the north of Chiapas state on the border with Tabasco, due to which rivers flowed and flooded between the two states. The Mexican government has deployed more than 4,300 troops from defense and naval ministries to protect and help the affected region.
