After the first ever Amazon 4- Star store opened in New York neighborhood of SoHo in late September, the second one has been introduced in Colorado, a bricks- and- mortar store keeping up with its plans of expansion offline. The stores sell products with a minimum 4- star rating based on Amazon’s online rating system. The products include Amazon’s own hardware devices along with its most popular shopping categories.
Based on the reports by CNET, the location of the second store is in the Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree, Colorado. The location of the third store has also been zeroed in by Amazon in Berkeley, California; however a concrete date has not been declared.
Chiefly an online store, Amazon has still managed to establish a great number of retail stores all over the US. With the 4- Star type of store, there are a total of four types of stores including Amazon Go which is a checkout- free grocery store that Amazon is exploring, there’s Amazon Pop- up that sells devices and finally there is Amazon Books which offers books predominantly and also merchandise and devices.
